Backstory: He lived with his average, happy family in South Korea, until his older sister was killed by a gang one unsettling night on her walk home from her job. His family then up and left, so his father could follow his job, and Sang-Min was thus was enrolled in Namura Academy.
Jobs: None, at the moment, but he’s looking for work.
Relationships-
Ya, Dae-Jung (Father/Alive): Respects and loves. Sang-Min doesn’t see much of him because of work, but know he is proud of him.
Ya, Eun-Hee (Mother/Alive): Loves and cares for. His mother is a busy woman who works a catering job. When Sang-Min was younger, he would assist her with cooking.
Ya, Hyo (Older Sister/Deceased): A caring and sweet sister to Sang-Min. Practically raised him when their parents were too busy. It was a fatal blow to lose her so tragically to the whole family.
Ya, Chin-Ho (Grandfather, Deceased): Passed when Sang-Min was young, but he remembered good times with the man, and that he started his love of lollipops. When his sister died, he began to see the spirit of his grandfather from time to time.
Ya, Ae-Cha (Grandmother, Deceased): Passed a little after her husband. Sang-Min doesn’t remember much of her, except that she was very strict.
Fenella "Fennie" Mafalda Cromartie (Friend/Alive): Enjoys listening to her witty remarks and that she has an accent. He admires he ability to be so comfortable and tell it how it is.
Kristian "Kritt"; Taylor (Senpai/Alive): Follows him like a puppy. Sang-Min likes to keep close to him, just ‘cause he enjoys the Brit’s company (and his accent too…Sang-Min has an accent fetish, sort of). He wanted to be close friends with him, but he was scared that Kritt wouldn't like him. Finally, the two confessed and are now happily together, both loyal to each other without question. He considers Kritt a person he can't be without.
Anais Walters (Friend/Alive): She was nice to him, so he really liked her for that. He thinks she has a nice singing voice too! Sang-Min doesn’t mind her company either and would like to be closer friends.
Ayane Yamada (Friend/Alive): Thinks her laid back attitude and ability to laugh at life is refreshing. She introduced Pokémon to him, and was probably the first one to ever be friendly with him. He hopes she will return the same feelings. Despite Kritt and Ayane being so close, he has no bad feelings towards her.
Daniel "Dani" Jeremy Hall: (Acquaintance/Alive): Whenever Sang-Min tries to be nice, he is shot down. The two don't seem to click, but Sang-Min is still nice to Dani and doesn't think badly of him.
Mi-Chu (Enemy/Deceased): A half-Korean girl who humiliated him in his first few weeks at Namura Academy, accusing Sang-Min of hitting on her (when really, he was looking for friends). She was hit by a drunk driver, and Sang-Min attended her funeral. A year later, she comes to him, as a ghost, for forgiveness, which he grants her in the end.

Underworld Purposes and Strategies-
Weapon: A short sword, made of a type of “light-technology” that resembles a Japanese Tantou sword (small, dagger-like blade). The hilt of his sword is his beloved iPhone. (…there’s no app for that LOL). The blade of his sword is solid and sharp, and he wields it with his right hand, backwards (like Ventus in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep).
